The City of Clarkfield is looking at the best options moving foward with our water and sewer systems in the City. Currently, we are working with Bollig Engineering on what the best options are. The existing options are to hook on to rural water or to update the systems that we currently have.
There will be a public hearing on this subject on April 14th at 6pm in the City Hall meeting room. Citizens are asked to come and share their comments and concerns.
The Economic Development Authority is now taking bids for shingling the Apartment 4-Plex located at 708 13th Ave. These need to be itemized bids. They need to list materials separate and the materials must be bought locally.
We would like to have a bid for both traditional shingles and steel roofing.
Bids will need to be into the Clarkfield City Office by April 24th, 2015.
The Clarkfield Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce that in JULY it will have money available for grants to qualified nonprofit organizations in the Clarkfield area.
Plan your project now. Then in July, just fill out the grant application, submit it and you're done. How cool is that!

We are currently in the process of gathering information on how our streets and sidewalks are being used. Please provide your input on areas throughout town that may make it difficult for you to get to your destination. For example: the kids that need to walk or bike to the Charter School or get to the parks and swimming pool in the summer. Another example would be basic intersection safety for all citizens.
